Custom Orders

All items supplied by Hampshire Threads Ltd are custom-made and personalised through embroidery, printing, or branding methods specified and approved by the customer.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

All artwork, spelling, sizing, colours, quantities, and garment selections are correct.

You have permission to use any logos, trademarks, or designs provided.

You understand that customised items cannot be resold by us once produced.

Once production has commenced, amendments or cancellations may not be possible and additional charges may apply.

Artwork Approval

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all proofs, mock-ups, and artwork approvals before confirming production.

Hampshire Threads Ltd is not responsible for errors approved by the customer, including:

Spelling mistakes

Incorrect sizing

Colour choices

Placement issues approved during proofing

Colours displayed on digital proofs or screens may vary slightly from the final printed or embroidered product. Approval of artwork constitutes final approval for production.

Quality & Garment Variations

Due to manufacturing tolerances, slight variations may occur in:

Garment shades

Print positioning

Embroidery placement

Sizing

Stitch density

Product images, digital mock-ups, and screen colours may vary slightly from the final physical product. These minor variations are considered normal industry standards and do not constitute defects.

Samples

Hampshire Threads Ltd strongly recommends ordering samples prior to large production runs to assess garment quality, sizing, colour tones, and branding placement. Where samples are offered and declined, Hampshire Threads Ltd cannot be held responsible for dissatisfaction relating to garment feel, sizing, colour tone, or branding placement that would have been apparent had a sample been ordered and approved.

Garment Availability

Garment availability is subject to supplier stock levels. In the event that an item becomes unavailable, Hampshire Threads Ltd reserves the right to offer a comparable alternative or provide a refund for unavailable items.

Customer Supplied Garments

Hampshire Threads Ltd cannot guarantee results on customer-supplied garments or materials.

Whilst every care is taken during production, we accept no liability for damage, print failure, embroidery issues, or garment defects relating to customer-supplied items.

Minimum Orders

Certain products or branding methods may require minimum order quantities. These will be confirmed before production begins.

Production Timelines

Production timelines begin only once payment has been received, or approved credit terms have been agreed, and artwork approval has been confirmed.

Any delays in approval, garment selection, or customer communication may affect estimated turnaround times.

Payment Terms

For first time clients full payment is required before production begins unless otherwise agreed in writing. Approved account customers may be offered 30-day invoice payment terms at the discretion of Hampshire Threads Ltd.

For larger orders, we may require:

A non-refundable deposit before production

Final balance payment before dispatch

Accepted payment methods include:

Bank transfer

Late or unpaid invoices may delay production and dispatch.

Late Payment Rights

Hampshire Threads Ltd reserves the right to suspend ongoing work or future orders where invoices remain unpaid beyond agreed payment terms.

Interest may be charged on overdue commercial invoices in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Pricing

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and may be subject to VAT where applicable.

Prices may change without notice; however, confirmed quotations remain valid for the stated quotation period.

Ownership of Goods

All goods remain the property of Hampshire Threads Ltd until paid for in full.

Force Majeure Clause

Hampshire Threads Ltd shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events outside reasonable control, including supplier delays, courier disruptions, industrial action, equipment failure, or acts of nature.
